Cross training refers to training in different ways to
improve overall performance. It takes advantage of the
particular effectiveness of each training method, while at
the same time attempting to neglect the shortcomings of that
method by combining it with other methods that address its
weaknesses.
Functional training is a classification of exercies which
involves training the body for the activities performed in
daily life. Functional training attempts to adapt or develop
exercises which allow individuals to perform the activities
of daily life more easily and without injuries.
Cross Functional training combines the philosophies of both
disciplines to create a complete, functional workout that
improves balance, strength, coordination and overall
performance - in the gym and in every day life!
